Taxus Cloud Hedges – Private Garden in Hamburg

The remit: An open space in front of the house should provide a privacy screen to the road without becoming a rigid “green wall”. Rather, organic shapes are requested, shapes which portray a wave movement at different heights. We went out to look and found the most beautiful, bushy taxus and also the most wonderful taxus beehive shapes. In our courtyard, we made the first calculations as to quantities and grouped qualities.

The planting of the taxus took shape with heavy equipment and a lot of specialist expertise. It was an elating experience to get the already formed cloud hedge in even better shape. The result – directly after the planting – is impressive and creates a wonderful atmosphere!
